Dude….these are..I hv no words to describe what I feel when I see these photos…
    My personal faves :
    > The guy in khaki against the red brick wall…the grim expression on his face n d contrasting background…WOW! Something abt it jumps right at the viewer!
    > The juxtaposition of light n shade…WONDERFUL!
    > Its amazing the way u captured his eyes…Its like his eyes are alive n actually communicating wid the viewer…AMAZING! Very hard to look away from the boy’s eyes.
    > In this picture, its the choice of the background and the subject that really caught my attention..This is wht came to my mind when i saw it-’Clueless in Coke-World!’ COOL!!!

Man..hv to say…u r TOO GOOD! U seem to gt better with each picture! Way to go pal!! Cant wait to see more from ya!

    ISV,

Thanks for your comments.I wish i could do these much better. We started off to this place bit late(Sigh..i got up at 9.30am).So light was always a problem for me .But somehow managed ….

    Hi Arun,

Awesome…. In most pics, I can read the history of the person…

I liked the color combination of the Corn Vendor. Thats a good Picture. I liked this one the best.

The roadside vendor boy infront of the candy bottle… The shine in his eyes throws a question…

The last 3 pics of the lil girl… Simply too cute… there are more meaning to these pics too… The first one is as if she is listening to her dad for some instructions/advice. The next one with the ball aside her, somehow depicts the learning nature of the kid… The last one, shows her identity as a person as if she is lost in thoughts.

I just didnt like the proportions of boy standing next to a bicycle. I dont like the pics which has a lots of space behind the person/Subject and less infront…. Kind of gives me a negative feeling that concerned more with the past than to look ahead for a better future… My personal perspective.

Everything Else, Simply Awesome… can write stories based on each pic… You are improving day by day… and more classic shots are coming out of you man…

Nice ones…seems to capture the entire gamut of human emotions. I liked the snap of a young boy(in black and white)..the little boy’s dreamy eyes seemed to be so full of hope! :)

  10. requiem Says:

beautiful. you are getting better… keep practising. my fav is the one in black and white where the person’s face is partly behind shadow [of some straw roof I guess]. you can’t see his eyes [thus his expression] but you can see faint reflection of sun in his eyes.

can say more, but we can take it offline (:

Thanks Arun for the comment on Bangalore in my website. Yes, Bangalore is dry. But coming from Hyderabad, I guess, I was prepared for this.
By the way, I saw the photos in your website. Good ones.

But somehow, I’m always uneasy with photos of the *poor* and the *helpless*, as if they are anthropological objects or exhibition pieces for us, you know, not normal human beings like the photgrapher and the viewer. Sorry, I didnt want to sound judgemental, but…

    Thanks again
    Smrti
